Reviews and Ratings
The Westin Princeville offers a stunning setting with beautiful grounds and spacious accommodations, making it a lovely place to unwind. However, the dining experience can be disappointing, with an overpriced on-site restaurant that struggles with both quality and service. Additionally, service amenities like housekeeping and shuttles were lacking, impacting the overall experience. While the staff was friendly and helpful, improvements in food options and overall communication are needed.
The hotel features stunning grounds and a beautiful pool area, making it a picturesque spot for relaxation. However, the dining experience left much to be desired, as the on-site restaurant provided poor-quality food and service. The shuttle service was an excellent perk, allowing easy access to nearby beaches and dining options. While the accommodations were generally spacious and comfortable, the amenities offered were inconsistent with the expectations for the price point.
The Westin Princeville is set on a cliff with beautiful property grounds, but my experience was overshadowed by outdated rooms and disappointing service. While the pool area is nice, the lack of attention to detail in guest services and the absence of essential amenities really detracted from what could have been a pleasant stay. The nearby restaurant options are few, and connectivity can be a challenge since Uber isn't available. Overall, there are better choices in Kauai for the price.
I had a lovely stay at the Westin Ocean Villas in Princeville, with clean and spacious accommodations that felt like a true getaway. The variety of pools available, including the infinity pool by the ocean, was a highlight. However, I was a bit disappointed by the dining options as many restaurants were closed, limiting our choices during the stay. The location is beautiful but be prepared for some additional costs like parking fees.
Our stay at the Westin Princeville had its ups and downs. The location on the cliff is pretty scenic, but the lack of beach access was disappointing. The rooms were fairly comfortable, though definitely showing some signs of age. We were quite let down by the limited service offerings and the restaurant not being open. Overall, we felt that for the price, we could have had a better experience at a different resort.
